Who I am
Howdy!
My name is Griselda Coreas, I am a proud first-generation Latina, born and raised from Houston, Texas. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
As a single mother of one, I understand the importance of balance, compassion, and individualized care. Choosing private practice allows me the flexibility to provide focused, high-quality therapy while deeply connecting with my clients. My personal experiences help me offer a culturally sensitive and unique perspective, ensuring that each person I work with feels heard, valued, and supported.
Now, as a resident of the Pacific Northwest, I am dual licensed in Texas and Washington, this means I can now provide therapy services in both states!
As a Latina, I take great pride in my cultural identity and embody this strength as a BIPOC therapist. Being fluent in Spanish allows me to connect more deeply with Spanish-speaking clients, which I consider one of my greater strengths. I am also committed to prioritizing my own mental health and confronting adversity, knowing that this enables me to show up as my best self and serve my clients with the care and empathy they deserve.
When I’m not helping clients navigate their journeys, you can find me exploring new coffee shops, enjoying outdoor adventures, or capturing photography. My son and I are huge adventurers of the PNW.
Thank you for taking the time in learning more about who I am.
